Things to KNow before you go: Egypt
Every place I’ve been to holds a valuable place in my heart, but there are not enough words that can express how special Egypt was. With historic monuments and temples dating back to 4,000 years ago, walking around felt like a huge outdoor museum. Ancient Egyptian civilization was ahead of their time, with each grand masterpiece as impressive as the last. For any first timers, give yourself at least a week is to travel through Cairo, Luxor and Aswan.
Wedding recap
the I do’s and I don’t
I’ll start off by saying I was one of those girls that had pinterest boards of my ideal engagement ring and wedding aesthetic before I was even engaged. After my dream proposal 2022 in front of Disneyland’s Castle, I was ready to hit the ground running with the planning process. Ask anyone that truly knows me, I’m in my element when it comes to throwing events. Yet even with my passion for coordinating, I still had moments of stress and feeling overwhelmed. For those entering their bridal era, here is my journey and hopefully some useful wedding wisdom.

How to denim on denim
I’ve always been a fan of the denim on denim trend. Also known as the Canadian tuxedo, if done right, it automatically makes you look chic and polished. It makes you look like you tried, but not too hard. It’s also a look that can easily turn into a fashion don’t and you may end up looking like you belong in the Wild West or off to a costume party. The steps to achieving the look can be complicated, confusing and very tricky. Trust me, I have attempted and failed this trend enough to know it’s not easy to pull off. Here are my personal foolproof tips to mastering denim on denim.
Tips on Curating a Designer Handbag collection
My love for handbags started when I was a little girl admiring my mom’s Gucci and Dior pieces. A classic luxury bag can elevate and transform your look instantly. I don’t spend a huge amount of money on one item of clothing or a pair of shoes, but I will splurge on a timeless bag. If you buy smart, they will will last you a lifetime and you won’t have any regrets.
Feeling Festive
Summer is my favorite season. For obvious reasons, like my birthday and warmer temperatures. It also means an abundance of summer music festivals to attend from Coachella in Palm Springs, Bottlerock in Napa, Burning Man in Nevada to Outside Lands in San Francisco. I live for music festivals.
Skin Essentials
Working in the beauty industry, I get introduced to some amazing products out on the market. While I enjoy trying out the "latest and greatest" from different brands, I always go back to my staple products. No matter how my skin acts up, whether I get too dry in the winter or too oily in summer, I can count on my basics to pull my skin back together.
Things to KNow before you go: CUBA
You can’t help but feel seduced by Cuba’s beauty and charm. A colorful Caribbean island, with much more to offer than salsa dancing, vintage cars and complicated history and politics. Cuba is a dream destination for many. As intimidating as it may seem, flying to Cuba as an American tourist is NOT complicated.
Closet Tour: Organization tips
If you have ever watched the movie "Clueless" then you will understand my closet obsession. When the movie came out on VHS I religiously watched it everyday for a full summer. Cher Horowitz was life goals with her white Jeep Wrangler, amazing wardrobe and her EPIC closet.
There is nothing like a clean, organized space, especially when an area like a closet can get overwhelming. Being the shopaholic that I am, my storage space in my bedroom is limited. I was finally able to take the bigger walk in closet next to my room and set up a personalized closet system. I consulted with both California Closets and The Container Store, which do gorgeous custom designs, but price wise was out of budget. The designer's time, materials, any luxury detailing (marble counter tops, brass hardware, etc.) would cost $5,000 and up depending on the area you're working with.
